The Christian Royer House was constructed around 1827 and served two functions. The first being the home of Christian Royer and his large family; and, the second being a meeting house for the Church of the Brethren. It was placed on the National Historic Registry in 1979. It was purchased in 2015 and given Conditional Use approval shortly thereafter as a Country Inn (Venue) site and has been operating in that manner ever since. The Royer House is truly an amazing property and offers a wedding venue experience unmatched in Carroll County.
